The HPFA holds monthly Hammer-in, or Forge-ins on the third Saturday of every month at 11am. Because the HPFA serves such a large area and has members from all over both North Dakota and South Dakota, the monthly Hammer-In and meeting location will change. The format of the meetings is usually as follows: morning open forging, 11am short business meeting, 11:15 or so, monthly specialty presentation, a Shoe Bucket presentation and discussion, and then followed again by open forging until members disperse.
